Thursday's Pitcher of the Night is a Lakeshore Chinook for the second straight night, left-hander Evan Kruczynski. Kruczynski, a freshman from East Carolina, pitched into the seventh to help Lakeshore pick up a narrow one-run win over La Crosse for their eighth in a row.

He went 6 1/3 shutout innings and struck out out 10 while allowing just three hits on two walks. He lowered his season ERA to 3.50 and improved to 3-3 on the season with the win. Kruczynski has 27 strikeouts in 36 innings with just 16 walks.
