Wednesday's Pitcher of the Night is La Crosse right-hander Blake Stevens, a junior from Birmingham-Southern. Stevens was backed by plenty of run support and threw seven solid innings in a convincing 9-1 win over Alexandria.

Stevens faced just four batters over the minimum and didn't allow a walk, scattering four hits over seven shutout innings. His second longest start of the summer, it was his first win and third appearance of the year. He's 1-2 with a 2.79 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 19 1/3 innings pitched.
