Sunday's Player of the Night is Alexandria catcher Ricky Sanchez, a sophomore from Notre Dame. Sanchez hit a pair of home runs as the Blue Anchors closed out their season with a 9-5 victory over Rochester.

Sanchez hit a solo shot in the second to put the Blue Anchors up early, 1-0. His second was a grand slam as a part of a seven-run fourth from Alexandria. They were his only two hits of the night, and he finished with a pair of runs and five RBIs. Sanchez finished the season with a .241 average and 34 RBIs in 63 games.
