The final Player of the Night for the 2014 season is Lakeshore center fielder Luke Meeteer, a junior from UW-Milwaukee. Meeteer and the Chinooks blanked Mankato, 3-0, for their first championship in franchise history. They swept the MoonDogs.
Meeteer led off the third with a solo home run, putting Lakeshore up for good. He finished 1-2 and scored a run as well as drawing a walk. It was his second nightly honor- the last one coming in July 2013, as a member of the Madison Mallards. He finished the regular season with a .251 average and went 3-13 with two RBIs in the playoffs. t6
