The Mankato Moondogs swept the Thunder Bay Border Cats in a doubleheader today 15-6 and 4-0, and Moondogs' shortstop Alvaro Rubalcaba (Cal St. Northfield) finished with four hits on the day. The junior from Vacaville, California hit 4-for-7 on the day with three RBIs, two runs scored and led off the eighth inning of the second game with a solo home run.
Rubalcaba and the MoonDogs will look to remain unbeaten with a game against the Rochester Honkers on the road tomorrow night at 7:05.
