The Madison Mallards completed another blowout victory on Saturday night to improve their league-best record to 5-0 on the season with an 11-1 win over the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. Right fielder Matt Vierling (Notre Dame) earned the Northwoods League Position Player of the Night award for his performance. He hit 3-for-5 with four runs batted in and scored a run for the Mallards, who are now just one of two teams that remain unbeaten.

Madison will play Wisconsin Rapids again tomorrow at 4:05 p.m. at Witter Field.
