The Willmar Stingers defeated the La Crosse Loggers 5-0 on Wednesday night at home, and before the game was called final after five innings, shortstop Quincy McAfee (Pepperdine) was already having a big night. The righty from Houston, Texas hit 2-for-2 with two RBI and a run scored for the Stingers, who improved their overall record to 5-4 on the season, which is tied for third in the North Division.
Willmar will host the Loggers again tomorrow night at 7:05 at Bill Taunton Stadium.
