The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters trounced the Thunder Bay Border Cats 15-2 at home on Thursday night. Wisconsin Rapids starter Chris Cooper (Texas A&M Corpus-Christi) pitched a solid game to pick up his second victory of the season. The righthander from Montgomery, Texas threw six innings and allowed one run on six hits and no walks with four strikeouts for Wisconsin Rapids, who improved to 6-3 this year.
The Rafters will play the Madison Mallards on the road tomorrow night at 7:05 at Warner Park.
