Battle Creek Bombers' outfielder Daniel Jipping (Central Michigan) had a big day in two games against the Green Bay Bullfrogs on Saturday night. Combined in the two games, he hit 4-for-10 and knocked in five runs with four runs scored and a pair of home runs, including a grand slam in the first game. Jipping was named the Northwoods League Position Player of the Night for the second time in the 2016 season.
Jipping and the Bombers will be on the road on Sunday night to play the Lakeshore Chinooks at 5:05 from Kapco Park.
