The Willmar Stingers swept a doubleheader against the Mankato MoonDogs at home on Monday. In the second game, Willmar starter Jonny Ortiz (Nova Southeastern) pitched a great game for the Stingers. The lefty from Coral Springs, Florida went seven innings and allowed one run on four hits and two walks with six strikeouts.
Willmar will play Mankato on Tuesday night at 7:05 on the road.
