The Duluth Huskies shut out the Thunder Bay Border Cats to split the doubleheader with a 2-0 victory in Game 2 on Wednesday night. Duluth starter Payton Robinson (Southeastern Louisiana) threw seven scoreless innings on two hits and three walks with a pair of strikeouts for the victory. He was named the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night, as he improved to 3-1 and lowered his earned run average to 1.62 in four appearances.
Duluth will play the Wisconsin Woodchucks on Thursday night at 6:35.
