The Mankato MoonDogs won a marathon game against the Waterloo Bucks 4-3 on Sunday in a 17-inning contest. In a no decision, Mankato's starting pitcher Reece Eddins (Nebraska) did not allow an earned run over eight innings and gave up six hits and zero walks with seven strikeouts to be named the Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night.
Mankato will play a doubleheader against the Rochester Honkers on Monday.
