Chase Strumpf (UCLA) earned tonight's player of the night after going 4-5 for Huskies as they defeated La Crosse 14-9. Strumpf doubled in his first at bat in the second and later scored on an RBI single. He singled in his second at bat in the next at bat, but was stranded. Strumpf drove in his first run in the fifth when he doubled in a run. Strumpf drew a walk in the sixth which was responsible for another run and he reached in the eight from an error. In his final at bat in the ninth, Strumpf singled in a run and scored on an error. He finished the night with one walk, 2 doubles, 3 runs scored and 3 RBI.
