Caleb Summerhays (UNLV) earned player of the night after going 3-4 for the Dock Spiders in their win over Kalamazoo. Summerhays led off the second with a walk and then scored on a sac flyout. In his second at bat, he hit a three-run home run to put Fondy up 7-4 in the third. Summerhays connected on a single in the fifth, but was left stranded. He then hit his second homer of the game in the ninth which was a grand slam. Summerhays ended the game with two home runs, a walk, 3 runs scored and 7 RBI.
