Luke Chevalier (Northern State) earned pitcher of the night after guiding the Stingers to a victory over Waterloo. Chevalier allowed his first base runner with one out in the second as he issued a walk and hit by pitch, but got the next guys to strike out and flyout. He didn't allow a hit until the first batter of the eighth inning and was pulled right after, but the runner eventually scored. His final line was 7 plus innings on one hit and three walks, one run and five strike outs as he earned his second win of the season.
