Parker Bates (Louisiana Tech) earned Player of the Night after driving in five runs for the Rivets in their win over Rapids. He hit a single in the opening inning and then hit a double in the second which drove in three. Bates hit a single in the fifth that knocked in two more as he ended his night going 3 for 6 with with a run scored and five RBI.
