The Wisconsin Woodchucks started off this afternoon putting another win under their belts against the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders. The final score was 5-2. There was a eleven inning battle between the Lakeshore Chinooks and Green Bay Booyah today with the Chinooks taking the win 5-4. The Kalamazoo Growlers were shut out by the Traverse City Pit Spitters 7-0, with Chase Andrews (Kentucky Wesleyan) hit one home run along with two RBIs. 

Wisconsin Woodchucks 5, Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 2

The Wisconsin Woodchucks defeated the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders this afternoon 5-2. The Woodchucks scored three runs in the fifth inning taking over the win. Woodchucks Zach Klapak (University of Pittsburg) had two RBIs, one run, and one hit during tonights game. While for the Spiders Jack Alexander (Notre Dame) and Kellen Sarver (Illinois) received one RBI each. The winning pitcher was Emmanuel Corporan (FDU) with four innings at the plate giving up four hits, one run, one walk, and two strike outs. Then in the last inning Tom Ambrosino (Adelphi University) swooped in for the save with one hit, zero run, zero walks, and zero strike outs. Fond du Lac’s losing pitcher was Jonathan Cowles (Colorado-Colorado Springs) pitched a solid four innings with seven hits, three runs, two walks, and four strike outs. 

Lakeshore Chinooks 5, Green Bay Booyah 4

In extra two innings the Lakeshore Chinnoks battled for the win over the Green Bay Booyah. The final score was a close 5-4. During the tenth inning, the Chinooks and Booyah scored two run and in the eleventh inning Lakeshore scored one run to take the win. Jacob Buchberger (Davenport) and Joe Mason (Mount Olive) scored each one home run for Green Bay. Buchberger also had two RBIs, hit one double, and two hits during this afternoons game. For the Chinooks, Trent Bauer received two RBI and two hits. The winning pitcher of the night was Will Klein (Eastern Illinois) pitching two innings with one hit, two runs, and two strike outs. While, the losing pitcher was Tanner Lane (Pittsburg State) for the Booyah with zero hits, two runs, one walk, and two strike outs. 

Rochester Honkers 6, Waterloo Bucks 1

The Rochester Honkers defeated the Waterloo Bucks this afternoon with a final score 6-1. For the Rochester Honker both Evan Berkey (Cal State Bakersfield) and Tristan Peterson (New Mexico State University) hit one home run each. While Berkey hit a double during tonights game. The Bucks Mike Nyisztor (Rutgers) had one RBI, two hits, and one strike out. The winning pitcher Ryan Middendorf (Lake Erie College) pitched a solid six innings with six hits, one run, zero walks, and six strike outs. Waterloo’s losing pitcher was Justin Beyer (Wagner) pitched for four innings giving up seven hits, five runs, six walks, and two strike outs. 

Thunder Bay Border Cats 6, Eau Claire Express 9

The Thunder Bay Border Cats were beaten by the Eau Claire Express with a final score 9-6. Eau Claire really came together scoring four runs in the eighth inning to steal the win. Border Cats Anthony Galati (Sacramento City College) scored one home run and two RBIs. While Garett Lake (Pima CC) scored one home run and two RBIs for the Express. David LaManna (Notre Dame) hit a double and a triple during todays game. The winning pitcher was Ethan Swanson (Cowley CC) had three hits, four runs, two walks, and one strike out during his three inning period. Brannon Jordan (Cowley CC) came in for the win during the last inning with zero hits, zero runs, zero walks, and two strikes. Lastly, Thunder Bay Lucas Reid (Sacramento City College) gave up two hits, three runs, one walk, and one strike out. 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 7, Kalamazoo Growlers 0

The Traverse City Pit Spitters shut out the Kalamazoo Growlers 7-0 with the Spitters scoring two runs in the second inning and maintaining the momentum scoring five more runs throughout the game. Chase Andrews (Kentucky Wesleyan) hit one home run along with two RBIs. Spitters Daniel Head (New Mexico State) had one RBI and hit one double. The winning pitcher was Pit Spitters Kyle Jones (University of Toledo) pitching six innings with four hits, zero runs, one walk, and three strike outs. For Kalamazoo, Adam Wheaton (Trine University) also throwing six inning worth giving seven hits, five runs, one walk, and three strike outs. 

La Crosse Loggers 10, Duluth Huskies 8

The La Crosse Loggers beat the Duluth Huskies during tonights game with a final score 10-8. The Loggers had a strong eighth inning scoring eight runs to take the lead and the win. Huskies Danny Zimmerman (Michigan) hit two doubles and two RBIs for tonights game. Loggers Cody Jefferis (San Diego) hit one triple and trow RBIs. The winning pitcher was Cal Jarrett (Cincinnati) who had two hits, one run, two walks, and zero strike outs. Tyler Shingledecker (Penn State) was the saving pitcher with zero hits, zero runs, zero walks, and one strike out. While, the losing pitcher was Jake McDonald (Texas Tech) giving up three hits, seven runs, two walks, and zero strike outs. 

Kokomo Jackrabbits 7, Rockford Rivets 4

The Kokomo Jackrabbits defeated the Rockford Rivets with a final score 7-4. The Kokomo Jackrabbits scored one run in the first, three in the second, and two in the fourth to bridge the gap between Rivets. Jackrabbits Denzel Clarke (CSU-Northridge) had two RBIs, one double hit, and one run during tonights game. For the Rockford Rivets Matt Higgins (Bellamine) received one RBI and two double hits. The winning pitcher was Kokomo’s Landon Weins (Morehead St) pitching a solid five inning with seven hits, three runs, one walk, and six strike outs. Ryan Boyer (Pitt-Bradford) came in for the save in the last inning with zero hits, zero runs, zero walks, and one strike out. While, Cory Wright (Valdosta State) was the losing pitcher for the Rivets with three hits, four runs, one walk, and two strike outs. 

Bismarck Larks 0, Mankato MoonDogs 3

The Mankato MoonDogs took the win against the Bismarck Larks with a shut out final score of 3-0. The MoonDogs started off the third inning scoring two runs and then continued with the lead throughout the rest of the game scoring another run in the fifth. MoonDogs Dayton Dooney (Arizona), Sky-lar Culver (Arkansas State), and Mason Crews (Kansas State) each had one RBI with Crews hitting a double. The winning pitcher was Mankato’s Nick Hull (Grand Canyon) pitched a strong five inning with two hits, three walks, and five strike outs. In the last inning, Hayden Juenger (Missouri State) swooping in for the save giving up one hit, zero runs, zero walks, and one strike out. While Bismarcks losing pitcher was Eric Hildebrand (Jackson College) with nine hits, three runs, three walks, and three strike outs. 

Madison Mallards 3, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 4 

The Madison Mallards had a tough loss against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters tonight with a final score 4-3. The Rafters came out with a bang in the first inning scoring two runs and then scoring another two in the fourth. Wisconsin’s Richie Schiekofer (Rutgers) and Roman Trujillo (New Mexico State) received one RBI each during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Matt Osterberg (St. Cloud State) pitching a strong seven innings with ten hits, two runs, one walk, and five strike outs. In the last inning for Wisconsin Brayden Bonner (Dixie State) came in with the save with two hits, zero runs, and one strike out. While the losing pitcher was Lowell Schipper (University of Richmond) giving up eight hits, four runs, two walks, and two strike outs during his five inning period. 

Willmar Stingers 1, St. Cloud Rox 2

The St. Cloud Rox won against the Willmar Stingers in a close win 2-1 during todays game. The Rox came out of the gates swinging scoring two runs in the first inning. St. Cloud’s Jordan Barth (Augustana University) had one RBI along with a double. The winning pitcher of the game was St. Cloud Rox Cam Kline (Minnesota State Mankato) pitching all nine innings with three hits, one run, zero walks, and five strike outs. While Stingers losing pitcher was Bradley Kinsey (Pittsburg State) giving up five hits, two runs, three walks, and five strike outs. 

Battle Creek Bombers 9, Kenosha Kingfish 2

The Battle Creek Bombers crushed the Kenosha Kingfish 9-2 with the Bombers having a strong seventh inning scoring five runs to continue the teams domination against the Kingfish. Battle Creek’s Jack Merrifield (LSU- Eunice) hit a home run, two RBIs, and two hits during tonights game. Another great performance was from Bombers Kolby Johnson (Central Arkansas) with three RBIs, two hits, and one run. The winning pitcher was Josh Hranicky (Lamar) pitching  a total of six inning with three hits, two runs, three walks, and six strike outs. While the losing pitcher was Kaleb Schmidt (Drury University) giving up six hits, four runs, four walks, and four strike outs during his five inning time at the pitchers mound.
