The Madison Mallards started off the afternoon capturing a win against the Green Bay Booyah. The final score was an impressive 13-4. The Rochester Honkers were shut out by the Willmar Stingers in a nail-bitting battle tonight. The ending game score was a close 1-0. The St. Cloud Rox destroyed the Thunder Bay Border Cats 17-3 during tonights game. The Rox scored 14 runs during the bottom of the fourth to capture the win.
La Crosse Loggers 5, Waterloo Bucks 6
The La Crosse Loggers lost in a close score 6-5 against the Waterloo Bucks. The Loggers were in the lead for the first two innings but the Bucks pulled it together to outscore them in the bottom of the eighth. Ryan Holgate (Arizona) had one home run and three RBI for La Crosse. Waterloo’s Patrick Ferguson (Kent State) had a great performance with one RBI and one double. The winning pitcher was Will Christophersen (Michigan State) who pitched two inning with no run and no hits for the Bucks. The losing pitcher was Loggers Marius Balandis (St. Louis).

The Madison Mallards destroyed the Green Bay Booyah with a final score 13-4. The Mallards had a total of thirteen runs and twenty hits throughout this afternoons game. Green Bay’s Jacob Buchberger (Davenport) and Joe Mason (Mount Olive) both hit one home run. Mason also received three RBI and one double. Booyah Justice Bigbie (Western Carolina) and Drew Benefield (Louisville) received one home run each. Bigbie also had three RBI. The Green Bay Booyah stepped up to the plate in their second game against the Madison Mallards of the night to defeat them. The final score was a close 9-8. Green Bay’s Nick Kreutzer (Arkansas Pine Bluff) and Joe Mason (Mount Olive) both hit one home run each. Mason also received two RBI during tonights double header. Madison’s Wade Stauss (Southeastern Missouri) had one home run along with four RBI. The winning pitcher was Booyah Jaret Godman (Oklahoma) who pitched two innings. While, the losing pitcher was Mallards Theo Denlinger (Bradley).
Rockford Rivets 9, Battle Creek Bombers 2 (Game #1)
The Rockford Rivets crushed the Battle Creek Bombers tonight with an ending game score 9-2. The Rivets really cracked down during the top of the ninth scoring five runs. Aaron Mann (Drury) received two RBI for Rockford. Bombers Josh Sears (Freed Hardeman) had one RBI and one double. The winning pitcher was Brad Littleton (Lewis) who pitched a solid six innings with two runs, five strike outs, and four hits. The losing pitcher was Battle Creek’s Walter Talcott (Earlham College).
Rockford Rivets 1, Battle Creek Bombers 3 (Game #2)
The Battle Creek Bombers split their double header series with the Rockford Rivets after winning game #2. The final score was 3-1. Rivets Nolan Snyder (Quincy) received one RBI and hit one double. Kolby Johnson (Central Arkansas) hit one double along with one RBI for the Bombers. The winning pitcher was Calvin Starnes (Northwestern Florida State) who pitched five innings of work with one run and four hits for Battle Creek. Beaux Bonvillain (Central Oklahoma) swooped in for the saving pitch. Rockford’s losing pitcher was Jimmy Burnette (Illinois).

The Eau Claire Express defeated the Mankato MoonDogs in a ten inning game. The final score was 5-4 with the Express taking the win in the bottom of the tenth scoring one run. Michael Perez (UCLA) hit one home run and three RBI for Mankato. Eau Claire’s Cole Cabrera (Cal Poly) hit one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Express Nick Herold (Winona) and the losing pitcher was Mankato Hayden Juenger (Missouri State).
Lakeshore Chinooks 6, Wisconsin Woodchucks 1
The Lakeshore Chinooks beat the Wisconsin Woodchucks. The final score was 6-1. The Chinooks came out of the gate swinging giving a total of six runs and thirteen hits. Mike Trautwein (Northwestern) received a double hit and one RBI for Lakeshore. Woodchucks Brandon Seltzer (Palm Beach Atlantic) and Angel Tiburcio (FUI) both had one double. The winning pitcher was Trevor Tietz (Jefferson College) who pitched a solid seven innings with one run, five strike outs, and five hits during tonights game. The losing pitcher was Wisconsin’s Robert Wegielnik (FL Southwest State College).
Bismarck Larks 6, Duluth Huskies 7
The Duluth Huskies won against the Bismarck Larks with a close ending score 7-6. Jack Chernow (Columbia) had one RBI during the first inning for the Larks. Bismarck continued to make progress holding the win until the fourth inning when the Huskies started to score and capture the win. Ramon Enriquez (Oklahoma Baptist) had two RBI for the Duluth Huskies.
Traverse City Pit Spitters 4, Kokomo Jackrabbits 3
The Traverse City Pit Spitters defeated the Kokomo Jackrabbits during tonights game. The finals score was a close 4-3. The Spitters had a total of four runs and ten hits throughout tonights game. Michael Slaten (Benedictine College) hit one home run and one RBI for Traverse City. Kokomo’s Logan Jarvis (Belmont) and Jeff Timko (Eastern Michigan) both had one RBI along with one double hit. The losing pitcher was Caleb Reinhardt (Evansville) for the Jackrabbits. The winning pitcher was Pit Spitters Cade Heil (University of North Georgia) with one run and four hits during his five innings of work. Evan Gates (North Carolina AT) swooped in for the save in the last and final inning of the game.
Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 1, Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 3
The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders lost against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters with a final score 3-1. The Rafters had a total of three runs and three hits throughout the full game. Wisconsin’s Davion Downey (Baylor) and Osvaldo Tovalin (Azusa Pacific) received one RBI each. Another great performance was by Josh Nicoloff (Columbia) who hit one double. The winning pitcher was Nathan Hammerling (Lakeland) who pitched a strong five innings giving up no runs, three hits, and five strike outs. The Kalamazoo Growlers beat the Kenosha Kingfish 8-4. In the top of the sixth inning the Growlers scored three runs to grab the win over the Kingfish. Growlers Zach Gelof (University of Virginia) hit one double and two RBI. Kingfish Jake Cosgrove (University of California-Irvine) hit one triple. The winning pitcher was Braydon Nelson (St. Bonaventure University) who pitched a solid six innings giving up one run and three strike outs. The losing pitcher was Kenosha’s Caleb Larson (University of Illinois).

The Rochester Honkers shut out the Willmar Stingers in a close battle with an ending score 1-0. The Stingers scored their one and only run of the night during the first inning to capture the win. Tyler Bosetti (Nevada) had one RBI and Cal Elvers (Miami (OH)) hit one double from Willmar. The winning pitcher was Garret Rukes (Alabama) who pitched a strong seven innings giving up no runs, five hits, and four strike outs. The losing pitcher was Honkers Dwayne Marshall (Maryland-Eastern Shore).
Thunder Bay Border Cats 3, St. Cloud Rox 17
The St. Cloud Rox demolished the Thunder Bay Border Cats during tonights game with an impressive final score of 17-3. The Rox began with the lead and never let the Cats catch up! In the fourth inning St. Cloud scored 14 runs to a capture and take over Thunder Bay. Jake Engel (Dixie State University (UT)) and Conor Allard (University of Nevada- Reno) both hit one home run each of the Border Cats. St. Cloud’s Jack Kelly (Northwestern University) received one home run and four RBIs. The winning pitcher was RJ Martinez (Minot State) pitching six solid innings with seven strike outs and three runs. Thunder Bay’s losing pitcher was Jeremiah Priddy (U of California Riverside).
