The Traverse City Pit Spitters and Kalamazoo Growlers started the night off with a close battle ending the game with a final score of 4-3. The Pit Spitters rallied during an extra inning scoring one run to defeat the Growlers. The Lakeshore Chinooks dominated the Green Bay Booyah with an ending game score of 13-9. Chinooks Griffin Doersching (Northern Kentucky) had an impressive performance hitting two home runs along with three RBI. 

Thunder Bay Border Cats 7, Duluth Huskies 9

The Duluth Huskies won over the Thunder Bay Border Cats with a solid final score of 9-7. The Huskies had two great innings scoring four runs during the third and fifth to stretch the lead over the Border Cats. Ryne Edmondson (Houston Baptist University) had one double along with three RBI from Thunder Bay. Duluth’s Alex Tappen (Virginia) hit one grand slam and five RBI during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Huskies Owen Meaney (Texas) while Jack Corbell (Miami (OH)) swooped in for the saving pitch. The losing pitcher was Border Cats Brendan Cindric (Pepperdine University (CA)). 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 2, Wisconsin Woodchucks 8

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders dominated the Wisconsin Woodchucks with a strong final score of 8-2. The Woodchucks scored a solid six innings to capture the lead over the Spiders. Duncan Hunter (Jacksonville) hit one triple along with one RBI for Fond du Lac. Wisconsin’s Adam Frank (FDU) had one triple and three RBI during tonights game. The winning pitcher was Greyson Fletcher (FIU) who gave up no runs and one strike out during his three innings of work. The losing pitcher was Spiders River Carbone (Arizona Christian University).  

Waterloo Bucks 2, Eau Claire Express 12

The Waterloo Bucks were demolished by the Eau Claire Express tonight with a final score of 12-2. The Express had a strong fifth inning scoring five runs to lead over the Bucks for the remainder of the game. Eau Claire’s Matt Bottcher (Illinois- Chicago) and Nick Marinconz (Cal Poly) hit one home run each. Bottcher also had three RBI during tonights game. Waterloo’s Tony Jenkins (Miami) received one double and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Jack Brown (Minnesota-State) who pitched a solid six innings with one run and striking out six. The losing pitcher was the Bucks Daniel Colwell (UCLA) giving up six runs and two strike outs during his four innings at work.  

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 4, Madison Mallards 5

The Madison Mallards rallied against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in a close battle and final score of 5-4. The Mallards pulled through scoring one run for the win during the tenth innings to defeat the Rafters. Osvaldo Tovalin (Azusa Pacific) and Jake Dunham (Northern Illinois) both hit one home run and RBI each from Madison. Mallards Ben Anderson (Georgia) and Drew Benefield (Louisville) received one double and one RBI each during tonights game. The winning pitcher from Wisconsin was Theo Denlinger (Bradley) who pitched one inning giving up no runs and no hits. The losing pitcher was Rafters Jimmy Borzone (Dixie State). 

Green Bay Booyah 9, Lakeshore Chinooks 13

The Lakeshore Chinooks crushed the Green Bay Booyah with a final score of 13-9. The Chinooks came out of the gates swinging beginning their domination over Green Bay right out the bat! Nathan Aide (Illinois) hit one home run and Griffin Doersching (Northern Kentucky) hit two home runs for Lakeshore. Aide and Doersching also received three RBI during tonights game. Green Bay’s Logan Thomason (Eastern Kentucky) had one double along with three RBI. Lakeshore’s winning pitcher was Grant Hartwig (Miami-Ohio) who pitched five innings giving up three runs and three strike outs. The losing pitcher was Booyah Melvin Frazier (Delta State). 

Bismarck Larks 10, St. Cloud Rox 12

The St. Cloud Rox beat the Bismarck Larks with an ending game score of 12-10. The Rox scored a solid seven runs during the bottom of the seventh inning to capture the win over the Larks. Stephen Baughan (Norfolk State) hit one home run along with two RBI for Bismarck. St. Cloud’s Jordan Barth (Augustana University) scored one home run, two doubles, and one RBI. The winning pitcher was Justin Wick (Creighton) and the saving pitcher was Blake Stelzer (Concordia University- St. Paul) for the Rox. The losing pitcher was Larks Corey Treyes (Coppin State). 

Rockford Rivets 4, Kokomo Jackrabbits 3

The Rockford Rivets beat the Kokomo Jackrabbits with an ending game score of 4-3. The Rivets had a total of four runs and seven hits throughout the game. Jonny Butler (North Carolina State) hit one home run along with one triple and two RBI for Rockford. Jackrabbits Hagan Severance (Belmont) had one double and two RBI during tonights battle. The winning pitcher was Jarret Olson (Michigan State) with three runs and striking out three during his eight innings of work. Rivets Tanner Propst (Louisiana Tech) was the saving pitcher during the last innings while the losing pitcher was Kokomo’s Josh Nixon (Dayton). 

Rochester Honkers 3, Mankato MoonDogs 11

The Mankato MoonDogs defeated the Rochester Honkers with an ending game score of 11-3. The MoonDogs fifth inning made a drastic impact to tonights game scoring six runs to bridge the gap between the Honkers for the win. Rochester’s Ryan Wrobleski (Dallas Baptist University) received one home run along with three RBI. Mankato’s Michael Perez (UCLA) hit one home run and three RBI. MoonDogs winning pitcher was Brett Newberg (Austin Peay State) who pitched six innings giving up one run, six hits, and striking out five. The losing pitcher was Rochester’s Marc Bisogno (Fordham University).  

Battle Creek Bombers 0, Kenosha Kingfish 5

The Kenosha Kingfish shut out the Battle Creek Bombers with an impressive and consistent innings scoring one run during the first three innings to begin the lead between the Bombers. The final score was 5-0. Kenosha’s Jake Cosgrove (University of California-Irvine) hit one home run along with one RBI. Roberto Pena (University of Florida) had one triple for the Kingfish. The winning pitcher was Ben Stephens (Eastern Illinois University) who pitched six innings giving up no runs, four hits, and striking out five. The losing pitcher was Battle Creek’s Walter Talcott (Earlham College) pitched five innings striking out seven. 

La Crosse Loggers 2, Willmar Stingers 12

The Willmar Stingers beat the La Crosse Loggers with an ending game score of 12-2. The Stingers had a total of twelve runs and eleven hits throughout tonights game. Sam Baier (Augustana University) and Brandon Bohning (CSU-Northridge) had one home run and one double each. The winning pitcher was Willmar Mason Palmier (Missouri Baptist) who gave up two runs while striking out seven during his seven innings at the mound. The losing pitcher was Loggers Tristan Harvin (Birmingham Southern).

The Traverse City Pit Spitters defeated the Kalamazoo Growlers with a final score of 4-3. The Pit Spitters scored one run during the tenth inning to capture the win over the Growlers. Joel Brewer (University of South Carolina) hit two RBI for Kalamazoo. Traverse Cities Hudson Byorick (Wofford), Mario Camilletti (Oakland University), Adam Proctor (Michigan State), and Christian Faust (Grand Valley State) all had one RBI each. The winning pitcher of the game was Kevin Hahn (CSU-Stanislaus) who pitched two innings giving up no runs, one hit, and one strike out. The losing pitcher was Growlers Pete Joseph (Northwood University).
