As the playoffs keep on going the Traverse City Pit Spitters beat the Madison Mallards in a close and nail-bitting game. The ending game score was 3-2, the Pit Spitters are onto the Championship game.

The Traverse City Pit Spitters defeated the Madison Mallards in a close battle during tonights playoffs. The final score was 3-2. Mallards tried to pull it together to steal the win in the eighth inning but it was not enough to beat the Pit Spitters. Traverse Cities Riley Bertram (University of Michigan) hit two RBI and Michael Slaten (Benedictine College) had one RBI. The games winning pitcher was Pat Hohlfeld (Jefferson University) who pitched three innings with no runs, four hits, and one strike outs. Spitters Joe Pace (University of Michigan) came in for the saving pitch while the Mallards losing pitcher was Trevor Marreel (Washburn University). 

Willmar Stingers 0, Eau Claire Expres 2

The Eau Claire Express shut out the Willmar Stingers with an ending game score of 2-0. The Express had a total of two runs and seven hits throughout tonights game. Brandon Dieter (Stanford) had one double and Connor Laspina (Flagler) received one RBI for the Eau Claire Express. The winning pitcher of the game was Jack Brown (Minnesota-State) who gave up no runs, one hit, and one strike out during his four innings at the mound. The saving pitcher for Eau Claire was Peyton Sherlin (Dallas Baptist) while the losing pitcher was Trevor Divinski (Minnesota-State).
