Connor Langreder (Northern Illinois) picked up his first win of the season on Wednesday night, throwing two innings, allowing just two hits and one run while striking out three batters.  His first inning of work was as clean as one could hope for, as he set down the side in order, racking up two strikeouts in the process. He would record his third strikeout in the bottom of the seventh, before inducing a groundout to escape the inning with a lead that Mandan wouldn’t relinquish.
