Martinez scattered five hits over his seven innings, while recording 10 strikeouts, which is a new season-high. In 31.2 innings pitched this season, he has allowed seven earned runs on 32 hits, with 37 strikeouts. His season ERA is 1.99, with a WHIP (walks and hits per inning pitched) of 1.17.
