The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are the champions of the Wisconsin-Illinois Pod after beating the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 14-3 on Saturday night. In Bismarck, the Larks swept the Flickertails in a doubleheader.

Traverse City Pit Spitters 4 Great Lakes Resorters 2
The Pit Spitters scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth to rally and beat the Resorters. Chris Monroe (University of Illinois Springfield) was 2-4 for Traverse City, with a double an RBI and a run scored. Kyle Van Liere (Kellogg CC) and Cooper Marshall (Western Michigan) also had hits, with Marshall recording an RBI double. Mark Scannell (Grand Valley State) got the start for the Spitters and threw five and two-thirds of an inning, allowing one run on six hits with three strikeouts. He ended up with a no decision, as Evan Gates (North Carolina A&T State University) threw the final one and one-third of an inning, striking out two batters to pick up his second win.
Kalamazoo Mac Daddies 6 Kalamazoo Growlers 5
The Mac Daddies scored three runs in the bottom of the fifth to beat the Growlers in the first game Saturday. Kyle Ashworth (Cal Poly) went 1-3 for the Mac Daddies, with two runs batted in to lead the Mac Daddies. He was one of six Mac Daddies to record a hit, with nobody getting multiple hits. Ashworth also threw one-third of an inning, allowing a hit and recording one strikeout to pick up the win.
Kalamazoo Growlers 8 Kalamazoo Mac Daddies 1
The Growlers entered the top of the fourth trailing 1-0, but they scored three runs in the inning, before scoring five in the fifth to beat the Mac Daddies in the second game of a doubleheader. Brett Barrera (Stanford) was 2-3 for the Growlers, with a double and three RBI along with two runs scored. Aaron Cardoza (Davenport University) and Cooper Doughman (Chattahoochee Valley CC) both had two RBI, with Doughman hitting a home run. Cody Gabriel (University of Rio Grande) got the start for the Growlers, throwing four innings, allowing an unearned run on three hits to pick up the win. Ricky Clark (Davenport University) threw one scoreless inning to close out the game.

Bismarck Larks 5 Mandan Flickertails 4
The Flickertails tied the game in the top of the seventh when they scored three runs, but the Larks got a walk-off single from Nick Kemper (Barton CC) that scored Nick Henrichs (Buena Vista University) He would end up leading the Bismarck offense, going 2-2, with a double, a triple and three runs scored. He was the only Bismarck batter to have multiple hits, as they only managed six hits as a team. Heinrichs also was the starting pitcher for the Larks, throwing five innings, allowing one run on three hits with seven strikeouts. He gave way to Kyle Leapaldt (Bismarck State College), who threw two innings to pick up his first win of the season.
Bismarck Larks 3 Mandan Flickertails 2
The Larks scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth to sweep the Flickertails on Saturday. The game-winning run came in the bottom of the eighth, when Kyle Leapaldt (Bismarck State College) hit a sacrifice bunt, scoring Riley Schlimm (University of Mary) with the game-winning run. Cole Hage (Columbia) was 2-3 at the plate for the Larks, while Schlimm and Bailey both recorded RBI. Hage also got the win for the Larks, throwing one hitless inning.
Kenosha Series
Kenosha Kingfish 8 K-Town Bobbers 5
The Kingfish held off an eighth-inning rally from the Bobbers to win the final game of the Kenosha Series 8-5. McKay Barney (BYU) was 3-4 on the night, with a run scored and an RBI. Mitchell Buban (UW-Milwaukee) was 1-4, with a double and four run sbatted in, while Nick Meyer (Otterbein University) was 2-4, with two runs scored and an RBI. Keith Kutzler (Carthage College) got the start and the win for the Kingfish, throwing six innings, allowing one run on four hits with six strikeouts to pick up his second win of the season. Jacob DeLabio (Carthage College) threw one shutout inning to pick up his third save of the season.

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 14 La Crosse Loggers 3
The Dock Spiders won the Wisconsin-Illinois pod championship in convincing fashion Saturday thanks to a 4-5 performance from Sam Novitske (Oregon), who hit a double and drove in three runs for the Dock Spiders. SMITH was 3-4, with a double and two RBI while Aaron Anderson (Liberty), AJ Miller (Oregon) and Kollyn All (Butler) had two hits each. Evan Sankey (NDSU) got the win after throwing five and one-third of an inning, allowing a run on two hits with one strikeout.
