Joseph Kalafut (Edgewood College) hit a ground ball that was mishandled by the shortstop to allow Ben Chosid (Kalamazoo College) to score the game-winning run on Wednesday night. Aaron Cardoza (Davenport University) was 1-2 on the game, with a double and the lone RBI for Kalamazoo. Kalafut was 1-3, with a double and a run scored while Chosid went 1-1, with an RBI. Grant Jebbia (Davenport University) threw a complete game for the Growlers, allowing a run on two hits with six strikeouts to earn his first win of the season.

Neither team was able to break through on Wednesday, as the Growlers and Bombers battled to a tie in the second game of their doubleheader. Cooper Doughman (Chattahoochee Valley CC) went 1-3 for the Growlers, with a home run and two RBI. Tyler Carper (Minnesota-Morris) threw a complete game for Battle Creek, allowing two earned runs on three hits with five strikeouts.
Traverse City Pit Spitters 6 Great Lakes Resorters 4
The Pit Spitters were able to hold off a seventh-inning rally from the Resorters to escape with a 6-4 win on Wednesday. Tommy Troy (Stanford) was 3-3 for the Spitters, with a double and three RBI. He was the only Traverse City batter to have multiple hits or multiple RBI. Al Thorington (Kellogg CC) threw six innings for Traverse City, allowing three runs on four hits with three strikeouts to earn the win. Jerad Berkenpas (Grand Rapids CC) threw one inning, allowing a run on two hits to pick up his first save of the season.

Bismarck Bull Moose 10 Bismarck Larks 5
The Bull Moose struck early and often on Wednesday, racing out to a 7-1 lead en route to a 10-5 win. Dane Nakatsuka (Irvine Valley College) was 3-5 on the night, with a run scored and two RBI. Jarrett Bickel (Palm Beach State College), Trenton Duchscherer (Bismarck State College) and Justin Goldstein (Orange Coast College) all had a pair of RBI for the Bull Moose. Goldstein also started for the Bull Moose, allowing two runs on six hits with eight strikeouts to improve to 3-0 on the season.
