John Torroella (Brown University) picked up his third win of the season Sunday as he helped the Kalamazoo Growlers to a 1-0 win over the Mac Daddies in the second game of the day in Kalamazoo.

Torroella for the start and threw four innings, allowing one hit and no runs while recording five strikeouts. This is his second shutout appearance of the 2020 season. In 15 innings pitched, he has allowed six earned runs on 10 hits with 22 strikeouts and an ERA of 3.60. He is averaging 1.4 strikeouts per inning pitched in 2020.
