Traverse City Pit Spitters 3 Kokomo Jackrabbits 1

Jeremy Neff (University of Richmond) pitched six innings for the Traverse City Pit Spitters as they defeated the Kokomo Jackrabbits 3-1. Neff only allowed three hits and one unearned run while striking out four Jackrabbits. Justice Burke (Embry-Riddle) recorded two hits for Kokomo. 

 

Kalamazoo Growlers 13 Battle Creek Bombers 1

Tanner Knapp (Kalamazoo Valley Community College) threw six one-run innings as the Kalamazoo Growlers recorded double-digit runs in a 13-1 victory over the Battle Creek Bombers. He allowed five hits, issued one walk, and recorded seven strikeouts.

 

Lakeshore Chinooks 11 Madison Mallards 3

Brennen Bales (Houston Baptist University) and Josh Glenn (University of Northern Colorado) each contributed one home run and three RBI in the Lakeshore Chinooks’ 11-3 win against the Madison Mallards. Bryant Shellenbarger (University of Akron) hit a solo home run and walked for the Mallards. 

 

Kenosha Kingfish 16 Rockford Rivets 3

Kirk Liebert (University of Kentucky) recorded three hits, a walk, and four RBI in the Kenosha Kingfish’s 16-3 victory over the Rockford Rivets. Sam Beers (Concordia University of Wisconsin) added two hits, two RBI, and a walk. Dylan Robertson (Iowa Western Community College) doubled, walked, and recorded two RBI for the Rivets. 

 

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 10 Green Bay Booyah 3 

Gus Collins (Northeastern Oklahoma A&M) was responsible for six RBI as the Fond du Lac Dock Spiders put up 10 runs to defeat the Green Bay Booyah 10-3. In four plate appearances, Collins tripled, was hit by a pitch, and scored two runs. Nick Dagnello (College of Charleston) recorded two hits, an RBI and he scored a run for the Booyah. 

 

Duluth Huskies 10 Waterloo Bucks 6 

Cason Tollet (University of Arkansas) doubled, walked twice, and recorded three RBI in the Duluth Huskies 10-6 win over the Waterloo Bucks. Zac White (University of Arkansas) scored three runs. Garrett McGowan (Pittsburgh State) had two hits, two walks, an RBI and he scored a run for the Bucks. 

 

Mankato MoonDogs 19 La Crosse Loggers 3

Caleb Heurtz (Midland College) plated five RBI on two hits and a walk as the Mankato MoonDogs put up 19 runs over the La Crosse Loggers in a 19-3 victory. Six other MoonDogs also recorded at least one RBI. JT Reed (Valley City State University) and Ronald Sweeney III (University of Minnesota) each collected two hits for the Loggers. 

 

Willmar Stingers 6 Bismarck Larks 0

Ryan Watson (Georgia State University) threw seven shutout innings as the Willmar Stingers defeated the Bismarck Larks 6-0. He struck out nine Larks and did not issue a walk while allowing only six hits. 

 

Rochester Honkers 8 Eau Claire Express 7 –10 innings

Ryan Thibert (Chico State) singled in the bottom of the tenth inning to give the Rochester Honkers an 8-7 extra innings win over the Eau Claire Express. The game was tied at six after nine innings. Eau Claire scored one run in the top of the tenth, but Otto Grimm (University of Minnesota) tied the game for the Honkers to set up Thibert’s walk-off in the bottom of the frame. 

 

Wisconsin Woodchucks 16 Wisconsin River Rafters 5 

Three Wisconsin Woodchucks players each scored three runs as the Woodchucks tallied 16 runs to defeat the Wisconsin River Rafters 16-5. Four players also recorded two RBI. For the Rafters, Hank Zeisler (Chapman University) recorded three hits, two RBI, and he scored a run.
