Cole Russo (University of Central Florida) earned Northwoods Player of the night with two home runs and four RBI. The Kalamazoo Growlers defeated the Traverse City Pit Spitter 12-4 led by Russo. Russo hit his first home run in the bottom of the first inning to take the lead. He also hit another home run in his next at bat to take the lead back after the Spitters tied the game. Tonight was Russo’s first home runs of the season.

The Kalamazoo Growlers will play against the Traverse City Pit Spitters Wednesday at 11:00 am.
