For the third time this season Derek Clark (Northwood University) from the Traverse City Pit Spitters earned Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night. Clark threw the first seven innings of the game giving up three hits and allowed only one run to score. Clark threw nine strikeouts to add to his 37 strikeouts on the season. Clark currently leads the league in strikeouts and has allowed only eight runs to score all year.

The Traverse City Pit Spitters will host the Kenosha Kingfish tomorrow at 6:35pm.
