Ben Abernathy (West Virginia University) from the Wausau Woodchucks earned Northwoods League Pitcher of the Night, throwing six scoreless innings with six strikeouts. Abernathy has thrown a total of 20 innings this season with 16 strikeouts to earn his first Northwoods League Award. Abernathy was a key part of the Woodchucks success as they took down the Kalamazoo Growlers.
The Wausau Woodchucks will finish the series against the Kalamazoo Growlers tomorrow at 6:35pm.
