The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders are working their way to the top as they earn their fourth win tonight against the Madison Mallards with a 19-7 victory. The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters are continuing their success in the second half of the season with a 7-1 record leading the Great Lakes West region. The Willmar Stingers earn their fifth win in a row with Steven Brooks earning Pitcher of the Night throwing eight innings.  

Kenosha Kingfish 5, Kalamazoo Growlers 0

The Kenosha Kingfish defeated the Kalamazoo Growlers 5-0 to win the first game of the series. The Kingfish struck first with an RBI double by Zack Carinici (Case Western Reserve University) to score the first run of the game in the second inning. Carinici had three hits with two doubles and two RBI. Drake Westcott (University of Louisville) had the only other hit of the night for the Kingfish with a single, a walk and a stolen base. Sam Bass (Jefferson) had the win on the mound throwing four innings with five strikeouts not giving up a hit. The Kingfish had four hits with eleven strikeouts from the pitching staff to take the win. 

Traverse City Pit Spitters 8, Battle Creek Battle Jacks 3

The Traverse City Pit Spitters took down the Battle Creek Battle Jacks 8-3. Christian Beal (University of Richmond) had the only multi hit game for his team with two singles. Hunter Tabb (Southern University and A&M College) and Brennen Dorighi (Wofford College) both had one hit driving in two runs for the Pit Spitters. Sam Tackett (Virginia Tech) reached base three times with a hit, two walks and two stolen bases scoring twice as he reached base. Derek Clark (Northwood University) closed the game throwing three innings with four strikeouts earning the win on the mound. 

Bismarck Larks 3, Mankato MoonDogs 0

The Bismarck Larks won their second game in a row to take the first game of the series against the Mankato MoonDogs 3-0. Carter Rost (Wichita State University) led the Larks throwing a complete seven innings with six strikeouts allowing zero runs to score. Aaron Mann (Drury University) and Jake Hjelle (University of Minnesota-Crookston) both had two hits with a double. Hjelle drove in the last two runs of the game in the bottom of the eight inning with a home run. 

Wausau Woodchucks 6, Green Bay Rockers 0

The Wausau Woodchucks won their fifth game in a row as they defeated the Green Bay Rockers 6-0. The Woodchucks struck first, scoring four runs in the third inning. Ben Abernathy (West Virginia University) drove in the first two runs of the game with a single to left field. Zack Levenson (University of Miami) followed it up with an RBI single to score the third run. Jack Wenninger (University of Illinois) had the win on the mound throwing six scoreless innings with six strikeouts giving up four hits. Cade Denton (Oral Roberts University) finished the game throwing the last two innings giving up no hits. 

Wisconsin Rapids Rafters 6, Lakeshore Chinooks 4

The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters won their seventh game of the second half of the season against the Lakeshore Chinooks 6-4. The Rafters rallied back to score five runs in the fifth inning with a home run by Jacob Igawa (University of Hawaii) driving in three runs. Igawa went two for four with four RBI. Ben Ross (Notre Dame College) reached base three times with two hits and a hit by pitch, scoring once with a stolen base. Collin Kiernan (Kean University) threw the first three innings with three strikeouts. Ben Amon (College of New Jersey) came into the game in the fourth inning throwing three scoreless innings with two strikeouts giving up no hits to earn the win on the mound.  

Fond du Lac Dock Spiders 19, Madison Mallards 7

The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders won the first game of the series against the Madison Mallards 19-7. Nick Mitchell (Western Illinois University) earned player of the night with three hits, a triple, one RBI and two stolen bases. Evan Smith (West Virginia University) came into the game to play left field in place of Mitchell and had two hits with a double, home run and four RBI. Cole Messina (University of South Carolina) reached base four times with three hits and a hit by pitch, scoring three times. Luke Vaks (College of Charleston) earned the win on the mound throwing three innings with five strikeouts and gave up zero hits. 

Eau Claire Express 4, Duluth Huskies 1

The Eau Claire Express won their sixth game of the second half of the season against the Duluth Huskies 4-1. The Express scored their first three runs in the second inning with a double by Sam Hunt (Vanderbilt University) and sac fly by Max Coupe (Skyline College). Hunt had two hits and two walks with three RBI. Sam Kichinski (University of Montevallo) led the team with three hits and a double, scoring twice as he reached base. Jared Lessman (Iowa Western Community College) was the starting pitcher throwing five scoreless innings with eight strikeouts giving up three hits. 

Rockford Rivets 9, Kokomo Jackrabbits 6

The Rockford Rivets started the series with a win against the Kokomo Jackrabbits 9-6. The Rivets rallied back to score five runs in the fifth inning to take the lead. Dylan Robertson (Iowa Western Community College) led the team with three hits including a double, walk and one RBI. Dustin Allen (University of San Diego) had one hit with three RBI, two walks and two stolen bases. Colton Klein (Carthage College) reached base four times with two hits and two walks. Ricky Castro (Purdue University) started the game throwing 4.2 innings with seven strikeouts. Noah Ruen (Tyler Junior College) came into the game to earn the win on the mound throwing 2.1 innings with five strikeouts. 

St.Cloud Rox 4, La Crosse Loggers 3

The St.Cloud Rox continued their success to earn their seventh win against the La Crosse Loggers 4-3. The Rox struck first with a two run home run by Charlie Condon (University of Georgia) in the first inning. The Rox scored their next two runs in the fourth inning with RBI singles by Will Worthington (University of San Diego) and John Nett (St. Cloud State University). Nett led the team with three hits including a double and one RBI. Nick Hyde (Western Carolina University) earned the win throwing four innings with three strikeouts allowing only one run to score. 

Willmar Stingers 4, Waterloo Bucks 0

The Willmar Stingers take the first game of the series with their fifth win in a row against the Waterloo Bucks 4-0. Steven Brooks (California Polytechnic State University) earned Pitcher of the Night throwing almost a complete game with eight innings pitched and six strikeouts. Will Stafford (Louisiana State University) and Zac Corbin (Kennesaw State University) both had RBI singles to drive in the first runs of the game. Stafford had two hits with two RBI.
