The Minot Hot Tots rallied late in the seventh innings, tallying nine runs to take the lead against the Willmar Stingers. The Madison Mallards are on a four game win streak going into week four of the season and are now 12-9. Tuesday’s slate will feature fourteen games that include three double headers.

 

 

Waterloo 3, Thunder Bay 4

Thunder Bay defeated the Waterloo Bucks in a 4-3 ball game Monday evening. The Border Cats scored four runs on eight hits and had zero errors in the field. They are now 9-8 on the season.

Dalton Mullins (Angelina College) went 2-for-4 with one RBI and one run scored. Patrick Engskov (Oklahoma) had one hit with two RBI on the evening. Matthew Tippie (Texas St) got the start for the Border Cats throwing 5 scoreless innings – allowing only two hits, three walks, and struck out seven.

Kokomo 0, Kalamazoo 7

The Kalamazoo Growlers shut down the Kokomo Jackrabbits, winning game of their series 7-0.

Jeter Ybarra (Washington) went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored. Banks Tolley (Mississippi) went 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. The Growlers combined for six RBI and seven runs scored. Noah Keller (Cornell) earned the win throwing 6 innings – allowing five hits, zero runs, four walks, and struck out three.

Wisconsin 5, Wausau 11

The Wausau Woodchucks break their losing streak after taking game one against Wisconsin. They are now 12-9 on the season.

Drew Berkland (Minnesota) went 3-for-3 with two walks, one RBI, and one run scored. Michael Maginnis (Georgia St) went 2-for-4 with a home run and five RBI on the night, leading the Woodchucks offense this evening. Karl Ralamb (Coastal Carolina) got the start for Wausau throwing 2 innings – allowing two hits, three runs, four walks, and two strikeouts. The Woodchucks staff combined for seven hits and nine strikeouts Monday’s game.

Eau Claire 2, Rochester 3

The Rochester Honkers take game one against the Eau Claire Express, earning their thirteenth win on the season. They currently lead the Great Plains East division with a 13-8 record.

Kimo Fukofuka (San Jose St), Ian Daugherty (Oklahoma St), Paul Schoenfeld (Colorado Mesa), Brendan O’Sullivan (San Joaquin Delta College) each had a hit on the night. Will Lavin (Bemidji St) got the start throwing 4 innings – allowing three hits, one run, two walks, and struck out two. Easton Richter (Saint Louis) is 2-0 on the season earning the win for the Honkers after throwing 3.2 innings with no earned runs.

Duluth 7, La Crosse 1

The Duluth Huskies win game one of the series against the La Crosse Loggers and earned their eleventh win on the season. They are now at an 11-8 record so far and are second in the Great Plains East division.

Calyn Halvorson (Utah Valley) went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored. Joshua Duarte (Georgetown College) went 1-for-3 with one walk and two runs scored. Colin Linder (Northwest Florida St College) earned the win throwing 7 innings – allowing two hits, one run, three walks, and struck out nine.

Battle Creek 1, Rockford 15

The Rockford Rivets defeated the Battle Creek Battle Jacks Monday evening, scoring fifteen runs on eleven hits. They are 13-8 on the season.

Coltin Quagliano (Illinois – Chicago) and Carson Roberts (Illinois – Chicago) each went 2-for-4 on the evening. Matthew Mebane (Southern Georgia St College) had three hits and two RBI. Ty Hutto (Alabama – Birmingham) earned the win throwing 6 innings – allowing four hits, one run, two walks, and four strikeouts.

Minot 10, Willmar 9

The Minot Hot Tots rallied back late in the game to defeat the Willmar Stingers 10-9 Monday evening. The Hot Tots earned their fifth win on the season.

Nic Pepe (Seminole St College of Florida) went 2-for-4 with a walk and one run. Christian Perez (New Mexico St) and Ryan Recio (Seminole St College of Florida) led the Hot Tots offense with three RBI on the evening. Thomas Rollauer (Citadel) had two hits, one being a home run with two RBI.

Mankato 17, Bismarck 13

The Mankato MoonDogs fight and rally to defeat Bismarck 17-13 in game one of the series. The MoonDogs are now 11-10 on the season.

Brendan Hord (Evansville) went 3-for-4 with a double, six RBI, and two runs scored. Max Williams (Alabama) and Ryan Nicholson (Cincinnati) each had two hits and two RBI on the night. John Lundgren (Illinois) got the start throwing 5.1 innings with six hits, five runs, four walks, and ten strikeouts.

Lakeshore 5, Green Bay 7

The Green Bay Rockers defeated the Lakeshore Chinooks 7-5 to take game one of the series. Green Bay continues to lead the Great Lakes West division with a 13-8 record.

Carlos Hernandez (Anderson University) went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI. Jojo Jackson (Georgia St) went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Jackson Murphy (Roanoke) got the start throwing 2 innings – allowing three hits, two runs, two walks, and struck out one. The Rockers pitching staff combined for eight hits allowed and four strikeouts.

Madison 7, Fond du Lac 2

The Madison Mallards defeated the Dock Spiders this evening after taking game one of the series 7-2. The Mallards have a 12-9 record on the season and are second in the Great Lakes West division, right behind Green Bay.

Jayden Lobliner (Kansas St) went 3-for-5 on the night. Five batters in Madison’s lineup tallied an RBI. Isaac Milburn (Eastern Kentucky) got the start throwing 5 innings – allowing only one hit, two runs, two walks, and had five strikeouts. The Mallards pitching staff combined for two hits and nine strikeouts.

Traverse City 8, Kenosha 5

The Traverse City Pit Spitters take game one of the series after defeating Kenosha 8-5 Monday evening. The Pit Spitters continue leading the Great Lakes Division with a 15-6 record overall.

Parker Brosius (Georgia Tech) went 2-for-3 with two walks and two RBI. Jack Crighton (Clemson) has two RBI on the night. Ethan Foley (Reinhardt University) got the start throwing 6 innings – allowing four hits, one run, one walk, and had four strikeouts.
