The Waterloo Bucks earned their eighth straight win after sweeping their double header series against Thunder Bay Border Cats. Battle Creek swept their double header against Kokomo after dropping game one against them Wednesday evening. They look to face off again for the fourth time this week.

Kokomo 6, Traverse City 5 **

The Kokomo Jackrabbits took game one of their double headers series Thursday afternoon, defeating the Pit Spitters 6-5.

Karsone Hesser (Northern St) and Camden Haylsip (Alabama) each tallied two hits combining for two RBI and two runs scored. Hayslip drove in a double and home run in his plate appearances today. Roman Kuntz (Morehead St) went 2-for-3 with a double, home run, three RBI, and one RBI. Derek Cabrera (Barry) earned the win throwing 6 innings and allowed two hits, zero runs, zero walks, and four strikeouts.

Kokomo 2, Traverse City 3

The Pit Spitters split their double header series Thursday evening after taking game two 3-2.

Parker Brosius (Georgia Tech) went 2-for-4 with a double and one run scored. Andrew Mannelly (Wofford College) went 2-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored. Hayden Jatczak (Saginaw Valley St) earned the win throwing 3.2 innings and allowed zero hits, one run, zero walks, and five strikeouts.

Kalamazoo 8, Rockford 9 **

The Rockford Rivets took game one of the double header against the Kalamazoo Growlers after dropping game one Wednesday evening.

David Bishop (Texas Christian) tallied two hits with one RBI and one run scored. Dustin Allen (Southern Arkansas) drove in a two RBI double and scored twice. Nick Vollmert (Southern Wesleyan) earned the win 1.2 innings and allowed two hits, zero runs, zero walks, two strikeouts.

Kalamazoo 12, Rockford 7

The Kalamazoo Growlers took game two after dropping the first game of the series. The Growlers lead the Great Lakes East with a 8-3 record.

Jeter Ybarra (Washington) went 4-for-6 with a double and two RBI on the night. Lewis Gavin Jr. (Alabama – Birmingham) went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBI, and four runs scored. Travis Densmore (Dayton) earned his second win on the mound throwing 5 innings and allowed five hits, one run, and three strikeouts.

Kenosha 7, Battle Creek 10**

The Battle Creek Battle Jacks defeated the Kenosha Kingfish in game one of their double header series today.

Luke Cheng (Illinois St) went 4-for-5 and scored three times. Blake Salamon (Northwood University) went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and two runs scored. Blake Mcrae (Eastern Michigan) tallied a two RBI single and Kyle Ratliff went 2-for-4 with a walk and one Rbi on the day. Tre Benjamin (Western Illinois) earned the win throwing 5 innings and allowed four hits, two runs, one walk, and five strikeouts.

Kenosha 2, Battle Creek 3

The Battle Creek Battle Jacks got the series sweep against Kenosha, defeating them 3-2 Thursday evening.

Jake Allgeyer (Western Illinois) went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Jay Adams (Concordia) drove in one off a double this evening. Kyle Ratliff (Southern Illinois – Edwardsville) tallied two hits and two RBI and a triple. Jake Jekielek (Northwood University) earned the win throwing 2 innings and allowed four hits, one run, zero walks, and three strikeouts.

Thunder Bay 4, Waterloo 5 **

The Waterloo Bucks defeated the Border Cats in a close 5-4 matchup in game one this afternoon.

Cole Hill (Stephen F. Austin St) went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one RBI, and one run scored. Marcus Heusohn (Lindenwood University) went 3-for-5 with a triple and one RBI. Aaron Ujimori (Hawaii) went 2-for-4 with one RBI. Luke Llewellyn (Iowa) earned the win throwing 2 innings and allowed only one hit, one run, one walk, and three strikeouts.

Thunder Bay 2, Waterloo 5

The Waterloo Bucks swept their series against the Thunder Bay Border Cats Thursday evening, defeating them 5-2.

Drew Donaldson (Indianapolis) went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run scored. Greg Nichols (Illinois St) and Brandon Fish (Massachusetts – Lowell) each tallied a hit with one RBI. Ethan Alexander (Western Illinois) earned the win throwing 3 innings and allowed three hits, one run, one walk, and three strikeouts.

Minot 8, Willmar 12**

The Stingers continue their win streak after defeating the Minot Hot Tots in game one of their double headers on Thursday. Willmar is now up 2-0 on their series against Minot.

Aidan Byrne (Minnesota St – Mankato) tallied two hits with one double and four RBI at the plate. Stone Miyao (Hawaii) went 1-for-3 with two RBI and three runs scored. Rylen Bayne (Bellevue) earned the win throwing 4.2 innings and allowed four hits, three walks, and four strikeouts.

Minot 3, Willmar 14

The Stingers swept their double header series, winning game two 14-3 Wednesday evening.

Kevin Fitzer (California St – Northridge) went 3-for-4 with a homerun, five RBI, and two runs scored. Aidan Byrne (Minnesota St – Mankato) went 4-for-5 with a double, two RBI, and three runs scored. Luke Williams (Alabama) allied three hits with two RBI on the night. Will Whelan (Minnesota) earned the win throwing 1.2 innings and allowed one hit, one run, two walks, and two strikeouts.

Fond du Lac 2, Wisconsin Rapids 1

Fond du Lac took game one against the Rafters Wednesday evening. They earned their fifth win of the season so far.

Jared Heinzen (Wisconsin – Parkside) went 2-for-4 with one run scored. Graiden West (Rice University) and Barron Zamora (Washington) scored the only two runs on the night. Mason Weckler (Wisconsin – Steven Point) earned the win throwing 7 innings and allowed four hits, one run, two walks, and four strikeouts.

Minnesota 3, Rochester 1

The Minnesota Mud Puppies defeated the Rochester Honkers 3-1 Wednesday evening.

Carter Hanson (Massachusetts) went 1-for-3 with a two run home run on the night. Adam Berghult (North Iowa Area Community College) drove in one off a solo shot. Jacob Mrosko (St. Thomas) earned the win throwing 6 innings and allowed one hit, zero runs, one walk, and eleven strikeouts.

Madison 6, Green Bay 5

The Madison Mallards took game one against the Green Bay Rockers Thursday evening, defeating them 6-5.

Owen Jackson (Toledo) went 3-for-3 with three home runs, six RBI, and scored three times. Carlos Hernandez (Anderson) went 2-for-4 with a double and one run scored.  Tommy Meyer (Northern Illinois) earned the win throwing 5 innings and allowed three hits, two runs, four walks, and five strikeouts.

Mankato 5, St Cloud 2

The Mankato MoonDogs took game one against the St. Cloud Rox, defeating them 5-2.

Max Williams (Florida St) went 2-for-4 with a home run, one RBI, and one run scored. Kai Roberts (Utah) tallied two hits with a triple and three RBI. Louis Magers (Minnesota St – Mankato) earned the win throwing 1 inning and allowed only two hits, one run, and one walk.

Bismarck 21, Eau Claire 18

The Bismarck Larks defeated Eau Claire in a high scoring match up Wednesday evening. The Larks tallied up to twenty-one runs off twenty-two hits.

Dante Leach (Tennessee Wesleyan) went 5-for-6 with a double, home run, four RBI, and two runs scored. Jackson Beaman (Missouri) went 3-for-5 with three RBI and one run scored. Jacob Arndt (Missouri – St. Louis) earned the win throwing 1 innings and allowed three hits, five runs, four walks, and zero strikeouts.

Duluth 5, La Crosse 11

The La Crosse Loggers defeated the Duluth Huskies in game one of their series. The Loggers are second in the Great Plains East division with a 8-1 record.

Troy LaNeve (Vanderbilt) went 3-for-5 with a home run and four RBI. Danny Neri (Notre Dame) went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Aidan Sweatt (Liberty) went 2-for-4 with two RBI and scored twice. Jake Porter (Brigham Young University) earned the win throwing 3.2 innings and allowed five hits, one run, one walk, and one strikeout.

Lakeshore 7, Wausau 8

The Wausau Woodchucks defeated the Lakeshore Chinooks in game one of their series Wednesday evening. Wausau tallied eight runs on eight hits to secure the win.

Colin Brueggemann (Oklahoma St) went 3-for-4 with a double, home run, four RBI and scored once. Andalo Santangelo (Towson) earned the win throwing 1 inning and allowed one hit, zero runs, zero walks, and one strikeout.
