The Green Bay Rockers are the 2023 Northwoods League Champions after defeating the St. Cloud Rox Friday evening. The Rockers earned their first ever title, taking down the Rox 4-3 to secure the victory. The Rockers finished the season with a 41-31 record (.563) and they finished the postseason 4-0.

Mateo Matthews (Wagner College) went 2-for-3 with one RBI and one walk. Jayson Jones (Arkansas) went 1-for-3 with one walk and two runs scored. Zane Zielinski (Illinois – Chicago) and Sam Polk (Washington St. Louis) each tallied a hit with one RBI on the night. Kendal Ewell (Illinois – Chicago) went 2-for-5 with a home run and one RBI. Brett Sanchez (Belhaven University) earned the win throwing 6 innings and allowed four hits, two runs, one walk, and five strikeouts.
