Rochester, Minn (August 11th, 2013)--The 2013 Northwoods League regular season came to an end on Sunday. With one playoff spot remaining to be filled, two games in particular were the focal points of the schedule.
Huskies Clinch Berth, South Still Up for Grabs
Rochester, Minn (August 10th, 2013)--The Duluth Huskies clinched the second playoff spot from the North Division with their win over the Rochester Honkers on Saturday night. In other action, the Loggers won and the Chinooks lost, which means the South remains up for grabs.
Final Weekend Opens Up
Rochester, Minn (August 9th, 2013)--The final weekend of the Northwoods League regular season opened on Friday. With just a couple days left in the season, teams began their final push towards a playoff spot.
Waterloo Bucks Tie Wins Record
Rochester, Minn (August 8th, 2013)--With a win on Thursday over the Battle Creek Bombers, the Waterloo Bucks won their 50th game on the season, which tied the all-time mark set by Rochester in 2006.
Doubling Up
Rochester, Minn (August 7th, 2013)--After rain outs left Tuesday's schedule short, games got pushed back to Wednesday, which created a huge slate of 11 games.
