St. Cloud, MN – The St. Cloud Rox announced today its complete 2014 promotional schedule. The Rox promotional schedule includes nightly promotions that fans can look forward to at Joe Faber Field in 2014. Promotional nights will include post-game fireworks shows, special guests, giveaway items, and themed nights throughout the season.
The promotions will lead off with the home opener on Friday, May 30th with former Minnesota Twins player and 1991 World Series hero Gene Larkin throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. The home opener will also include a huge post-game fireworks show and magnet schedule giveaway for all fans, all presented by Coborn’s.
For all six home Friday games the Rox with have post-game fireworks. Also, returning to Joe Faber Field will be the very entertaining “Deuces Wild! Dueling Pianos” who will perform throughout the game on Thursday, June 26th and Thursday, July 31st. The promotional schedule includes premium giveaways at 23 games throughout the season, including 28” youth baseball bats, bobbleheads of NFL Star and local Rocori graduate Eric Decker, cereal bowls, replica jerseys, two baseball cap giveaways, baseballs, drawstring bags, dog dishes, baseball cards, piggy banks and a $3,000 diamond ring.
A few other promotions to highlight the 2014 season will be the 2nd annual Wine, Women and Baseball event on Saturday, August 2nd, as well as the award winning national entertainment act “BirdZerk!” who will be performing all night long on Saturday, June 28th. Mountain Man from A&E’s hit reality TV show Duck Dynasty will make an appearance at the ballpark on Friday, July 18th.
There will be two special Rox jersey auctions during the 2014 season. On Sunday, June 8th in partnership with the Center for Diagnostic Imaging, the Rox will be wearing special pink jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. In addition, the Rox will be wearing special red jerseys during the ‘Guns & Hoses Night’ on Wednesday, July 9th, a night to recognize local Police and Firefighters presented by Firehouse Subs. The jerseys will be auctioned off during the game with the proceeds to benefit the Public Safety Foundation.
