Thunder Bay, ON – The St. Cloud Rox and the Thunder Bay Border Cats have postponed their June 12th matchup until Friday, June 13th as heavy rainfall in Thunder Bay has forced the teams to reschedule the games to tomorrow. The Rox and Border Cats were slated to play a two-game series beginning tonight, but will now play two, seven-inning games as part of a doubleheader tomorrow in Thunder Bay beginning at 4:35 p.m. CDT at TBaytel Park.
After the Rox and Border Cats conclude the doubleheader tomorrow, the Rox will head back to St. Cloud for a two-game series with the Kenosha Kingfish at Joe Faber Field beginning Saturday, June 14th at 6:05 p.m. and concluding Sunday at 5:05 p.m. Saturday will be Baseball Bat Giveaway Night, presented by the St. Cloud Hospital Stroke Center, as the first 300 kids 14-and-under will receive a Rox 28” wood baseball bat. Sunday is Take Your Dad to the Ballpark Day as well as Coborn’s Kids Day, where Father’s Day prizes will be given to Dad’s all game long while kids will have the opportunity to run the bases and collect autographs after the game.
