Dalton Sawyer has appeared in six games in the 2014 campaign for the Rox, throwing 11.1 innings and striking out 12 while recording a 2.38 ERA. He posted back-to-back scoreless outings in the middle of June, where he threw a combined 5.1 innings against the Kenosha Kingfish and Thunder Bay Border Cats while not allowing a run or a hit, walking just one and striking out five.
Sawyer comes to the Rox in his sophomore season at the University of Minnesota, where he posted the second-lowest ERA (2.79), tallying six saves in 42 innings with 39 strikeouts as the premier closer for the Golden Gophers.

What is your most memorable baseball moment: Starting in the Big 10 Tournament against Nebraska.
Advice to young athletes: You can have anything if you want it bad enough and are willing to work as hard as it takes for it.
