Rox Field Manager Augie Rodriguez Set to Return for 2015 Season

St. Cloud – The St. Cloud Rox announced today that field manager Augie Rodriguez has signed a contract extension to return for the 2015 season.  Currently with 102 career wins, Rodriguez has managed the team since their inaugural season in 2012.

“Augie has gone over and beyond everything that has been asked of him the last three seasons.  He deserves a contract extension,” said Rox Vice President Scott Schreiner.  “His passion for the Rox and bringing St. Cloud a championship is unmatched.  He is tirelessly working and isn’t going to stop until he’s holding the trophy.  We are excited for the future and having Augie continue to lead the way.”

Rodriguez has consistently shown improvement with his teams since the 2012 season.  During the Rox inaugural season he managed the squad to 29 wins.  The following two seasons have seen winning percentages over .500 with win totals of 36 and 37.

“I want nothing more than to help bring St. Cloud a championship.  I love absolutely everything about the Rox organization and feel very grateful to have the opportunity to go into my fourth season as the Field Manager,” said Rodriguez.

In the coming months Rodriguez, along with the Rox organization will work to build the roster for the 2015.  The Rox will begin their fourth season in St. Cloud during late May of next year.  The Northwoods League will release the entire 2015 schedule in late November.
