St. Cloud, MN – The Northwoods League will begin their 23rd season in 2016, and earlier today they announced the 72 game schedules for all 18 teams, which will begin on Tuesday, May 31st.
The St. Cloud Rox will begin the season with a four game road trip against the Waterloo Bucks and La Crosse Loggers between May 31st and June 3rd. The Rox home opener will be Saturday, June 4th at 7:05 P.M. as they host the Thunder Bay Border Cats at Joe Faber Field.
In total, the Rox will play 36 home games during the 2016 regular season at Joe Faber Field. The Divisional Playoffs will be played on August 15th and 16th and the Summer Collegiate World Series be held from August 18th through the 20th. The Rox finished the 2015 season with a 51-25 record and a North Division Championship. 62,019 fans watched Rox Baseball in 2015.
