During the 2016 season the St. Cloud Rox will once again team up with Capital One for a bobblehead giveaway. After the popularity of the Chisel bobblehead giveaway in 2015, we decided to let our fans select the bobblehead for this season! In an online vote that concluded on Monday, February 29th, fans chose between four former Rox players (Reese Gregory, Phil Imholte, Adam Martin and Chris Paul) with the winning selection being represented in bobblehead form at a 2016 game. The winner with 36% of the vote was Reese Gregory. The date of the Reese Gregory Bobblehead Giveaway will be announced in the near future.
Gregory played for the Rox during the 2013, 2014 and 2015 seasons. He was a three time Northwoods League All-Star and held a 17-7 record on the mound. Gregory threw 201.1 career innings for the Rox and tallied a 1.79 earned run average. He holds the Rox career strikeouts record with 198 over his three seasons.
Imholte was an outfielder during the inaugural Rox season in 2012. He is entering his 3rd season as an assistant coach with the Rox. During the 2012 season with the Rox, he appeared in 65 games and tallied a .297 batting average. He hit two homeruns and drove in 41 runs while stealing 21 bases. In his two seasons on Field Manager Augie Rodriguez’s staff the Rox have a record of 88-60.
Martin played catcher and first base for the Rox during the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Over 100 career games he had 12 home runs, 64 runs batted in and a career batting average of .297. During the 2013 season he represented the North Division in the Northwoods All-Star game and won the Northwoods League Home Run Derby. He set Rox single season records for home runs (10), runs batted in (51) and hits (84). He was drafted in the 10th round of the 2014 MLB draft by the Seattle Mariners.
Paul played for the Rox during the 2012, 2013 and 2014 seasons. He was a two-time Rox team Most Valuable Player award winner (2013, 2014) and represented the North Division in the 2014 Northwoods League All-Star Game. In 193 career games, Paul holds numerous hitting records for the Rox including home runs (13), runs batted in (100) and hits (224) while posting a career batting average of .296. He was drafted in the 6th round of the 2015 MLB draft by the Minnesota Twins.

The Rox will play their 5th season of Northwoods League baseball in 2016. The home opener at Joe Faber Field is scheduled for Saturday, June 4th at 7:05pm against the Thunder Bay Border Cats.
