St. Cloud, Minn. – Thursday’s game between the St. Cloud Rox and the Eau Claire Express has been postponed due to weather conditions.
The game will be made up on July 21st at 6:35 p.m. as part of a double-header at Joe Faber Field. The first game will be picked up in the bottom of the third and last a full nine innings, followed by a 30 minute break and the second, a seven inning game.
Fans with general admission and reserved tickets to Thursday’s game can exchange their ticket for any future regular season home game in the 2016 season, based on ticket availability.
The Rox had taken a 3-2 lead after the top of the top of the third when a weather delay came into effect. An RBI single by Luke Ringhofer (South Dakota State) in the first inning brought home the first run of the game.
In the second, Brett Pope (Western Carolina) and Ben DeLuzio (Florida State) got on base without an out allowing Webb Bobo (Southeastern Louisiana) to double them home. The Rox will be taking their turn at bat in the third inning when the game is resumed.
The Rox will now take to the road for a two-game series against the Rochester Honkers. They will return home on Sunday, July 10th to take on the La Crosse Loggers. It will be Super Hero Night presented by Mobil Super. Dress up as your favorite super hero and come to the game! It is also Coborn’s Kid’s Day. Kids have the opportunity to run the bases after the game and get autographs on the field.
