St. Cloud, MN – The St. Cloud Rox are excited to announce their full 2017 promotional schedule. The schedule is jam packed with amazing fireworks shows, great premium giveaway items and highly entertaining national entertainment acts!
All single game tickets including the home opener will go on sale starting Thursday, May 4th at 10:00 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online at www.stcloudrox.com, by calling (320) 240-9798 or at the Rox ticket office located at the Municipal Athletic Complex
Opening Weekend
Former Major League Baseball All-Star and World Series Champion Tom Brunansky leads off the Home Opener on Friday, June 2nd. A former Minnesota Twins outfielder and hitting coach, Brunansky will throw out the ceremonial first pitch and stick around to sign autographs. The home opener will also include a huge post-game fireworks show and magnet schedule giveaway for all fans, all presented by Coborn’s.
On Saturday, June 3rd, the 1st 300 kids 14 and under will receive a youth wood Rox baseball bat courtesy of the CentraCare Neurosciences Stroke Center.
Opening Weekend concludes with Books & Baseball Day presented by Initiative Foundation and United Way on Sunday, June 4th. The first 200 families with children 5 & under will receive a book and have the opportunity to read with Rox players on the field before the game. It’s also the start of the very popular Coborn’s Kids’ Days. At every Sunday home game, kids can run the bases and get autographs on the field after the game.
Friday Night Fireworks
After the Rox light it up on the field, Pyrotechnic Display will light up the sky! After every Friday home game, there will be a fantastic post-game fireworks show. In addition to the Home Opener, Friday Night Fireworks are scheduled for June 9th presented by Kwik Trip, June 30th presented by Franklin Graphics and Franklin Outdoor Advertising, July 14th presented by Cornerstone Buffet & Restaurant Sartell, July 28th presented by McDonald’s Meats, and August 11th presented by Texas Roadhouse. There will be a total of six post-game shows throughout the 2017 season.
Bobblehead Giveaway
On Thursday, August 10th, 2016 Northwoods League Field Manager of the Year Augie Rodriguez and Assistant Coach, two-time World Series Champion Al Newman will be represented in a very unique Double Bobblehead giveaway presented by Capital One. The first 400 fans will receive a token to be redeemed during the game for a double bobblehead.
Premium Giveaways
The promotional schedule includes premium giveaways at eighteen games throughout the season including replica jerseys, baseball caps, BBQ aprons, cooler bags, root beer mugs, baseball cards, piggy banks, umbrellas and pint glasses and more.
Special Events
The Rox will host the 6th Annual Bark in the Park Night presented by Granite City Pet Hospital on Wednesday, June 21st. Fans are able to bring their dogs out to enjoy a night at the ballpark with proceeds benefitting the Tri-County Humane Society. In partnership with Center for Diagnostic Imaging, on Sunday, July 16th the Rox will wear pink jerseys that will be auctioned off with proceeds going to American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer for the annual Pink in the Park Day. The inaugural Community All-Stars Night presented by Sentry Bank will be held on Thursday, July 27th. Eleven area youth who have shown the eleven character traits of Jacob Wetterling will be awarded the ultimate Rox experience. The Rox will wear special #11 red jerseys and there will be a silent auction supporting the Jacob Wetterling Resource Center. Saturday, July 29th the Rox are changing their name to the S’mores for the night as they play Duluth who will be playing as the Campfires. Both teams will be wearing special S’mores and Campfires uniforms. The night will include marshmallow roasting, a youth campout and s’more! Sunday, July 30th marks the annual Military Appreciation Day presented by Rapid Recovery & Aquatic Center. The Rox will wear special military themed uniforms that will be auctioned off with proceeds going to Country Manor Foundation. Battle of the Badges Night presented by Country Financial will return on Saturday, August 5th. A pregame softball battle between area law enforcement and firefighters will precede the Rox game.
National Entertainment Acts
Baseball’s Rock Stars “Bucket Ruckus” entertain during the game on Thursday, June 8th presented by Brandl Motors. The eclectic group will be drumming on the dugouts, leading cheers in the stands and rockin’ throughout the game. Back by popular demand is the entertaining “Deuces Wild! Dueling Pianos”. The two comedian/musicians will have fans entertained throughout the game on Thursday, June 29th presented by PreferredOne. The friendly animal inflatables of the ZOOperstars will return to the Rockpile on Thursday, July 13th presented by Plaza Park Bank and Times Media.

- June 17: Rox Baseball Cap Giveaway presented by Franklin Outdoor Advertising. 1st 250 fans receive a special edition Rox baseball cap.
- June 18: Father’s Day at the Ballpark! Rox BBQ Apron Giveaway/Men’s Health Awareness presented by CentraCare Clinic – Adult and Pediatric Urology. 1st 350 guys will receive a BBQ Apron. One lucky fan will win a new BBQ grill! Coborn’s Kids’ Day. Kids will have the opportunity to run the bases and get autographs on the field after the game.
- June 21: Bark in the Park Night presented by Granite City Pet Hospital. 1st 200 dogs receive a Rox dog bandana. All dogs enter through the General Admission 1st base gat.
- June 26: Faith in Action Night. Pre-game youth baseball/softball clinic presented by Fellowship of Christian Athletes, YMCA and Northland Capital Financial Services, LLC
- June 29: Deuces Wild! Dueling Pianos will be performing throughout the game presented by PreferredOne.

- July 25: Rox Team Team Poster Giveaway presented by Rengel Printing & Bulldog Photo. 1st 1,500 fans will receive a 2017 Rox team poster.

- August 3: Rox Trading Card Set Giveaway presented by Rengel Printing and Times Media. 1st 500 fans will receive a 2017 Rox trading card set.
- August 5: Battle of the Badges Night presented by Country Financial. Pregame softball battle between police officers and firefighters starting at 4:05 pm.
- August 6: National Root Beer Float Day. 1st 250 fans receive a Rox Root Beer Mug courtesy of A&W Restaurants of Albany, Richmond and Sartell. Coborn’s Kids’ Day. Kids have the opportunity to run the bases and get autographs on the field after the game.
