The 2017 Rox season has already been one to remember as the Rox won the North Division First Half Title last month for the first time ever! Winning the first half division title secured a spot in the Northwoods League playoffs for the third consecutive season and a home game on Monday, August 14^th.

The Northwoods League playoff format includes eight teams, four teams from each division. The winner of each half and two wild card teams with the best remaining records in each division qualify for the playoffs.

Tickets for the first round of the playoffs at the Rockpile on Monday, August 14^th at 7:05 P.M. will go on sale at 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 1^st. The St. Cloud Rox are a member of the finest developmental league for elite college baseball players, the Northwoods League. The 23-year-old summer collegiate league is the largest organized baseball league in the world with 20 teams, drawing significantly more fans, in a friendly ballpark experience, than any league of its kind. A valuable training ground for coaches, umpires and front office staff, 180 former Northwoods League players have advanced to Major League Baseball, including two- time Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer (WAS), two-time World Series Champion Ben Zobrist (CHC) and MLB All-Stars Chris Sale (BOS), Jordan Zimmermann (DET), Curtis Granderson (NYM) and Lucas Duda (NYM).
