St. Cloud, MN — Your 2017 St. Cloud Rox knew that they were in the playoffs a long time ago, but the night is finally here. The Rox clinched a playoff birth for winning on top of the standings of the North division in the first half of the season, and finished with a 42-30 record good for second in the North division. The Rox host the Willmar Stingers in the first divisional matchup in a single elimination game. Aaron Rozek, the Northwoods league pitcher of the year is starting on the mound for the Rox and looks to deliver another dominant performance and most importantly a win. Corey Binger out of Nebraska-Omaha is the probable starter for the Stingers. If the Rox win they will take on either the Eau Claire Expreses or the Mankato Moondogs for the North Division Championship, and a birth to the Summer Collegiate World Series. First pitch against the Stingers is 7:05pm tonight; Limited tickets are still available to purchase. You can call our Rox box office at 320-240-9798 or go to our website 24 hours a days at stcloudrox.com.
