St. Cloud, MN — The St. Cloud Rox announced Thursday the organization’s fifth annual Military Appreciation Night presented by Advantage 1 Insurance Agency will be on Thursday, June 28 as the Rox take on the Bismarck Larks at 7:05 p.m. at the Rock Pile.

The night will honor local active and retired members of armed services featuring a Military Hero Baseball Card Set Giveaway. The Rox will also be wearing special jerseys during the game and will auction them off online with the proceeds benefiting Vietnam Veterans of America Central Minnesota Chapter 290.

The non-traditional baseball card sets will feature men and women from throughout the St. Cloud and Central Minnesota communities who have served our country. The card set will be given away to the first 300 fans through the gate on June 28.

“We are proud to partner with Advantage 1 Insurance Agency this season to honor our local military members with a card set giveaway and a jersey auction. With this unique card set giveaway, we’re able to show appreciation for members of our community that have and continue to serve our country,” Rox General Manager Mike Johnson said.

The Rox are now calling on fans throughout the St. Cloud area to nominate their friends, family, co-workers and neighbors. Nominations can be made online here or by emailing mike@stcloudrox.com now through Sunday, June 10.

In order for your nomination to be considered, all nominations must contain the following:

• Your name.
• Your email.
• Your phone number.
• Name of your hero.
• Military Branch and Status (active or retired).
• Hero Biographical Information in 75 words or less.
• High resolution photo of nominated hero (preferably in uniform).
