St. Cloud, MN – The St. Cloud Rox offense exploded on Tuesday night in a 11-4 win over the La Crosse Loggers at the Rock Pile.

St. Cloud’s 11-run outburst at the plate was highlighted by four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning and four more in the bottom of the sixth.

The Rox, who finished with 10 hits in the game, were led at the plate by Ryan Lillard (Arizona State) and Ryan Weisenberg (Georgetown). Lillard finished 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored, while Weisenberg went 2-for-5 with two RBI.

Bobby Seymour (Wake Forest) added a triple, two RBI and two runs scored and Jack Barrie (Northwestern Ohio) went 2-for-3 with two RBI in his Rox debut.

Kenny Saenz (Bringham Young) pitched six innings on the mound to pick up the win for St. Cloud. Saenz, who also played with the Rox in 2017, gave up six hits, three earned runs and struck out one to get his first win of the season. Evan Johnson (Creighton) pitched three shutout innings in relief to pick up the save.

St. Cloud is back in action on Thursday night, finishing up a two-game series with La Crosse at 7:05 p.m. at the Rock Pile. The game will feature America’s Ballpark Prankster BirdZerk presented by Brandl Motors. BirdZerk will be interacting and entertaining fans throughout the course of the game.
