Duluth, MN – Ricardo Sanchez (Arkansas at Pine Bluff) and Ryan Weisenberg (Georgetown) registered two hits each but St. Cloud (21-25) fell to the Duluth Huskies (30-16), 7-2. The Rox finished with eight hits as a team. It was the final regular season meeting of the year between the two teams.

The Rox scored their first run of the game in the second inning when Ryland Kerr (Eastern Kentucky) scored on a passed ball. In the sixth inning, Weisenberg tripled down the right field line. Jack Barrie (Northwestern Ohio) hit a sac-fly to the outfield and was credited with an RBI that brought home Weisenberg.  

Carlo Graffeo (Minnesota State-Mankato) started the game and pitched five innings. He struck out four batters and only allowed one walk. Jake Stevenson (Minnesota) tossed three innings in relief work and allowed one hit.

St. Cloud turns its attention to the Willmar Stingers for a two game home series at the Rock Pile. Tomorrow’s game is Summertime St. Patty’s Night as the Rox will wear green jerseys. First pitch time is scheduled for 6:05.
