Throughout the course of the next few months, three former St. Cloud Rox players will be among the 180 total players taking part in the Arizona Fall League.
Each week, we will take a look at how Will Craig (2014), Josh Taylor (2014) and Jay Flaa (2013) are doing in the league and recap how they did during the previous week.
Will Craig – Surprise Saguaros
During the first week of action in the Arizona Fall League, Craig appeared in all three games for the Saguaros.
During that span, the former Rox infielder went 2-for-10 with three runs scored, a home run, two RBI and one stolen base. Entering the weekend, he is hitting .200 for Surprise.

Josh Taylor – Mesa Solar Sox
In his first week in the Arizona Fall League, Taylor made one appearance on the mound for the Solar Sox.
In that appearance, which consisted of 1.2 innings of relief work, the former Rox pitcher threw one shutout inning while giving up just two hits. He currently carries a perfect 0.00 ERA with just one walk and two strikeouts entering the weekend for Mesa.

Jay Flaa – Glendale Desert Dogs
During the first week of play in the Arizona Fall League this past week, Flaa made one relief appearance for the Desert Dogs.
In the outing, the former Rox pitcher threw 1.1 shutout innings, giving up three hits during that stretch. Flaa enters the weekend’s slate of games with a perfect 0.00 ERA on the mound for Glendale.

Craig, Taylor and Flaa are three of 180 total players from around the country that are taking part in the Arizona Fall League this season.
All 180 players that play in the league are selected by their Major League Baseball affiliate, with each big league club sending their top six prospects in their respective minor league systems. The Arizona Fall League schedule runs from the second week in October and wraps up at the end of November.
