St. Cloud, MN – St. Cloud (19-12) dropped the series finale against Waterloo by a final score of 6-1 on Friday evening. Jack Kelly (Northwestern) had a multi-hit game at the plate.

The lone run of the game was scored in the bottom of the seventh inning for the Rox. Following a Landon Stephens (Miami-Ohio) single, Brett Bonar (Nebraska-Omaha) blasted an RBI-double to right field.

Base hits were recorded by Brady Harlan (Oklahoma), Jordan Barth (Augustana), Garrett Delano (Brown), Stephens, Kelly and Bonar.

Trevor Koenig (St. Cloud State) started the game and was followed by Richie Holetz (Nebraska-Omaha), Rhyse Dee (Wake Forest), Drew Garrett (Johnson County CC) and Kevin Davis (USC Upstate) out of the bullpen.

St. Cloud will be back at home on Saturday against the Mankato MoonDogs with a 6:05 p.m. first pitch. It’s Rox Piggy Bank Giveaway and Quarter Drop presented by Great River Federal Credit Union. The first 300 fans 12 and under will receive a piggy bank and have a chance to pick up 4,000 quarters on the infield after the game.
