BISMARCK, ND – The St. Cloud Rox (26-14) took game two of a two-game series against the Bismarck Larks (18-22) with a 10-3 final score, Sunday, July 9th. The Rox sit in first place in the Great Plains West division during the second half.

The starting pitcher for St. Cloud was Wes Burton. Burton worked through a stellar outing, with 4.1 innings pitched and a career-high six strikeouts. Burton made his 4th appearance for the Rox, leaving the Larks scoreless. Burton has 16 strikeouts over 11.1 innings pitched this season.

Jackson Hauge added on to his team lead in RBI with a solo home run early, now with 30 RBI on the season. Hauge has 12 extra-base hits this season, with six extra-base hits over his last six games. Kyle Jackson reached base four times, stealing two bases, and scoring twice. Jackson has 30 runs scored this season, tied for the 5th best mark in the league. Carson Keithley knocked his 1st home run of the season in the victory.

Brady Posch worked the Rox out of a jam in the 5th inning, striking out the only two batters he faced. Evan Esch went through the final 4.0 innings, striking out seven batters. Esch has 17 strikeouts in 17.1 innings of work this season.

The Rox continue their road trip to take on the Willmar Stingers tomorrow, Monday, July 10th, with a 7:05 first pitch for game one of the series.
